Hi guys I am hoping someone can help as I've tried for ages trying to get this to work.
My panasonic tv is connected to the home cinema box via hdmi(arc hdmi port 2) which works fine. The problem is my humax HDR t2 box is connect to the tv via hdmi (port 1) however it doesn't play any sound.
I have spoken to humax who say/claim it's a common issue with panasonic tvs and there is not a lot you can do.
Anyway, the way I've got round this is that I have connected to humax to the surround sound via an optical cable.
What I want it to do is when I select the hdmi channel for the humax box can I get the surround sound to automatically change to digital in setting? Or am I asking to much from this basic surround system?
